Job summary

The New York State Unified Court System seeks a Court Analyst (Accounting Specialist) in the Appellate Division, 2nd Department Grievance Committee for the 10th Judicial District in Hauppauge, NY.

Responsibilities include auditing attorney escrow books, identifying records needed for audits, and preparing Excel spreadsheets to present findings. You will communicate conclusions to staff attorneys for investigations and draft confidential memoranda with recommendations.

Qualifications

• One year in the Assistant Court Analyst title; or Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university and one (1) year of relevant experience; or Master's degree in Public or Business Administration from an accredited college or university; or An equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Candidates with a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting or Forensic Accounting are preferred.
