The Fiscal Manager is a vital member of Advancement Financial Services, providing strategic accounting support with a strong emphasis on audit compliance. Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Advancement Financial Services and Chief Finance Officer, this position manages and analyzes financial data in accordance with GAAP, institutional, state, and federal guidelines. The role includes oversight of financial systems such as Sage, and Workday, ensuring data accuracy, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. In addition to financial system administration, this position provides leadership by supervising a student employee and a fiscal analyst, guiding junior staff, and reviewing financial deliverables for quality and accuracy. The Fiscal Manager serves as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, offering professional and informed assistance. The role is also responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for a $22 million operating budget and overseeing the Finance team’s record retention processes to support transparency, accountability, and effective decision-making.
This is a full time (100% FTE), permanent position. Overtime eligibility is dependent upon final salary placement. Monthly Salary: $5,485.73 - $8,402.20 | Commensurate with experience and qualifications In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate’s current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.
