Job summary

Civicworks' Fiscal Advisor III supports the Environmental Finance Office's State Revolving Fund programs by monitoring financial records, analyzing transactions, and providing accounting and administrative support.

Located within DNREC's Environmental Finance section, this role ensures compliance with budgets, grants, and regulations while maintaining internal controls and preparing financial reports for water infrastructure investment programs.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience compiling, analyzing and reporting on financial data for accounting or financial planning.
• Two years' experience ensuring compliance of financial transactions with budgets, agreements, grants, and state or federal laws.
• Six months' experience analyzing financial problems and recommending solutions to management.
• Coursework, training and/or work experience in staff supervision or lead worker responsibilities.
• Proficiency with commercial and proprietary automated information systems and computer software.
• Valid driver's license required as a condition of hire.
