FIRSTLIGHT HOME CARE- A DIVISION OF MASONIC HOMES KENTUCKY in Louisville, KY is seeking PRN caregivers to provide comfort, companionship, and personalized support to seniors and adults needing assistance. Roles emphasize compassion, independence, and following care plans to improve quality of life.

Caregivers help with daily activities, light meals, mobility, and occasional transportation, with flexible hours primarily on weekdays, plus evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of caregiver experience, ideally in-home care.
• Dependable, reliable, and able to work independently while following care plans.
• Empathetic, patient, kind, and trustworthy with excellent communication skills.
• Values creating enjoyable experiences with clients.
• Comfortable using a basic caregiver app and technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide comfort, companionship, and personalized support to clients.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Prepare snacks and meals to meet individual needs.
• Encourage and assist with movement activities to support mobility and engagement.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks and transport clients to appointments if licensed and approved.
