Job summary

At Mazzella, a leading industrial equipment company, we are seeking a Welder for first shift weekdays. The role involves MIG, ARC, and TIG welding, reading blueprints, and fabricating parts for equipment while maintaining safety standards.

You will inspect welds, prepare parts, and collaborate with maintenance and fabrication teams to diagnose issues and complete assignments efficiently. A high school diploma or GED plus welding certification is required.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified welder.
• Must obtain D14.1 certification within 30 days after hire.
• Minimum 2 years in metal fabrication environment.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must pass background check, physical, drug screen and E-verify.
• Strong math and PC literacy.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, GA drawings.
• Perform MIG, arc and TIG welding; layout and pipefitting.
• Repair, fabricate parts; perform preventive maintenance inspections.
• Inspect welds for bead size and specifications.
• Move parts and finished products in welding area.
• Maintain equipment; follow safety regulations and PPE requirements.
