Job summary

Mazzella is seeking a Welder to perform MIG, ARC, and TIG welding, read blueprints, and fabricate or repair parts for industrial equipment. You will work on various weld positions and adhere to safety protocols and lock-out procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of fabrication experience, and the ability to pass a certification within 30 days after hire. Excellent teamwork and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
• Capable of MIG, arc and TIG welding.
• Maintain and repair parts for industrial equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and drawings.
• Perform MIG, arc and TIG welding and pipefitting functions.
• Inspect welds for bead size and specifications; repair as needed.
• Maintain plant equipment; perform preventive maintenance and diagnostics.
• Work in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Adhere to safety regulations and use PPE and lock-out procedures.
• Move parts and finished products in/out of welding area.
• Other duties as assigned.
