At Mazzella, a Welder positions available for first shift on weekends. The candidate must perform a variety of welding functions with different equipment and may assist with related tasks as needed.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, welding symbols, and general drawings; fabricating parts; performing MIG, arc and TIG welding; and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The role requires 2+ years in metal fabrication and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; D14.1 certification within 30 days after hire.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in metal fabrication or equivalent.
• Must read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.

Responsabilités

• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, general arrangement and sub-component detail drawings.
• Maintain, repair, fabricate parts for industrial equipment.
• Perform MIG, arc and TIG welding, layout, and pipefitting functions.
• Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical or overhead positions.
• Ensure safety and use PPE per regulations.
• Move parts and finished products within welding area.
• Adhere to plant, state and federal safety regulations.
