Job summary

PLA is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for 1st shift in Springfield, MO. This role leads daily warehouse operations, partners with onsite leadership to meet service and quality standards, and drives continuous improvement.

You will manage scheduling, coaching, and safety compliance while ensuring on-time fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on leadership, strong communication, and a proven ability to meet production targets in a warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members, customers, and senior leadership.
• Proven supervisory/leadership experience in warehouse or production environments.
• Demonstrated track record of meeting/exceeding production and operational goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support daily warehouse operations at an assigned facility.
• Partner with onsite leadership to meet customer service and quality standards.
• Track and achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production goals.
• Review performance reports and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate employee scheduling, timekeeping, and performance management.
• Assist in hiring, training, coaching, and retention of warehouse staff.
• Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Monitor labor costs, minimize waste, and ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Serve as the main communication link between operations, employees, and customers.
• Inspire accountability and promote positive workplace culture.
