Job summary

PLA Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Montgomery, IL to lead day-to-day warehouse operations on first or second shift. The role reports to onsite management and drives production performance, safety, and continuous improvement across functions.

Ideal candidates bring strong leadership, hands-on problem‑solving, and effective communication with team members, customers, and senior leadership. Prior pallet industry experience is a plus, but training is provided.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication with team, customers, and leadership.
• Proven supervisory or leadership experience in warehouse/production.
• Experience with employee scheduling and performance management.
• Familiarity with HR processes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse operations at the facility.
• Collaborate with onsite leadership to hit service and quality goals.
• Track and achieve daily, weekly, monthly production targets.
• Review performance reports and identify improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate scheduling, timekeeping, and performance reviews.
• Assist in hiring, training, and retaining staff.
• Enforce safety policies and cost-control measures.
• Ensure on-time order fulfillment and minimal waste.
• Serve as the main link between operations, customers, and staff.
• Provide direction to frontline employees and promote accountability.
• Maintain clear communication with management and customers.
