Job summary

Staples is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our supply chain team in the New York area. The role offers 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday, with the potential for overtime and performance-based pay.

As part of six possible areas—bulk/material handling, porter, replenishment, receiving/putaway/returns, returns, and shipping—you may move into different duties as needed. Safety and teamwork are essential as you help deliver products to customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ months experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to pass a drug screen where legally permissible.
• Basic English (verbal and written).
• Overtime hours may be required for full-time associates.
• Able to lift 70–100 lbs by hand.
• Safety shoes required.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers) to move products safely.
• Assist with general cleaning and maintenance in the facility.
• Perform replenishment and loading/unloading tasks as needed.
• Verify product accuracy and communicate discrepancies.
• Move products to shipping areas and assist with packing.
• Support receiving/putaway/returns processes with accuracy.
