Staples, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our supply chain team in New York. You may work in six areas, from bulk handling to shipping, with safety as a priority and opportunities for additional compensation based on productivity.

This role offers pay for performance, a fixed shift pattern 5:30pm-10:30pm Monday-Friday, and benefits for full- and part-time staff; training and certification in material handling equipment are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) months related experience in a warehouse environment; or any equivalent combination of acceptable training, education, and experience.
• Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent permissible legally.
• Basic English language skills (both verbal and written communications).
• If you are hired as a Full-Time associate, you must have the ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift; overtime hours may be required.
• Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet or more as needed.
• An ability to lift, push or pull boxes/merchandise weighing between 70 pounds and 100 pounds by hand.
• Must wear safety composite shoes.
• Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.
• You must be at least 18 years old.

Responsabilités

• Operate material handling equipment to pick product up to 100 lbs and move within the warehouse.
• Perform general cleaning and basic maintenance duties as required.
• Operate equipment to move product within the warehouse while following safety procedures.
• Unloading trucks and palletizing products; ensure accuracy and address discrepancies.
• Identify and resolve issues with product quantities and descriptions.
• Ship and stage customer orders; maintain a safe, organized workspace.
