Job summary
Staples, Inc. is seeking warehouse associates to join our supply chain team in New York. You may be assigned to one of six roles—Bulk/Material Handling Equipment Operator, Porter, Replenishment, Receiving/Putaway/Returns, Returns, or Shipping—depending on business needs.
The role requires operating forklifts and related equipment while maintaining safety and efficiency in a fast-paced facility. The position offers a competitive hourly pay rate and opportunities for overtime; full-time associates
Qualifications
- Minimum three months related warehouse experience.
- Ability to pass a drug screen where legally permissible.
- Basic English language skills (verbal and written).
- Must be 18 years or older and able to work overtime when needed.
Responsibilities
- Operate material handling equipment to pick and move products up to 100 lbs.
- Perform general warehouse tasks and support safety procedures.
- Work in multiple areas: Bulk/Material Handling, Porter, Replenishment, Receiving/Putaway/Returns, Returns, and Shipping.
- Unload trucks and palletize products, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Organize, stack, and shrink-wrap customer orders for shipment.
- Maintain clean work areas and follow safety guidelines.
