Job summary

Haworth, Inc. is seeking a Team Leader for the Holland, MI wood plant on the 1st shift (4X10). You will lead a production team, ensure safety and quality, and drive-throughput while coaching staff and maintaining schedules.

The role requires being on-site in Holland, MI and may involve overtime. Responsibilities include coordinating daily work schedules, communicating priorities to the team, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience working in a team based manufacturing environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain powered industrial truck (PIT) certification.
• Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to lift/move products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Leads team to meet safety, quality, schedule, cost, culture, and environmental goals through effective coaching and training to distribution/production team members.
• Actively assumes production job responsibilities of any team member.
• Launches daily work schedules and updates production metrics.
• Serves as communication conduit between leadership and line employees and ensures cross-shift handovers.
• Trains employees and provides guidance on new processes and SOPs.
