Job summary

Eaton Corporation's Critical Power Solutions Division seeks a 1st shift Production Supervisor in Youngsville, NC. The role oversees product-line teams, drives safety, quality, delivery, cost and efficiency goals, and supports plant-wide initiatives. Relocation assistance is available.

You will lead manufacturing activities, coordinate schedules, and mentor staff to achieve performance targets while integrating lean practices and continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5 years' direct leadership experience.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in Manufacturing Operations or Engineering in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 1 year of direct supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision for production employees in the assigned area.
• Participate in employment, staffing and performance decisions, and maintain records on productivity, quality and attendance.
• Provide coaching and counseling to employees to encourage performance and skill development.
• Drive plant-wide Continuous Improvement initiatives from YPO Key Projects and others as directed by Plant Managers.
• Develop and implement schedules and manpower to meet/beat production plans.
• Plan and prioritize department and plant-wide production schedules based on delivery dates, efficiencies, and materials.
• Monitor productivity to maintain or exceed quality and production targets.
• Engage employees in lean initiatives (5S, pull systems, empowered teams, problem solving).
