Job summary

1440 Foods is seeking a 1st Shift Production Supervisor to lead our startup plant's manufacturing operations. You will manage production schedules, ensure product quality, supervise staff, and uphold safety standards.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and a track record in food manufacturing. You will drive daily performance, cost control, and continuous improvement projects to keep the line productive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry-specific experience.
• 3 years of proven leadership experience in a production or manufacturing environment in the food industry.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production operations to meet schedules and quality standards.
• Monitor production processes to optimize productivity and minimize downtime.
• Quality assurance/sanitation: implement QC measures and address issues; lead sanitation with guidance.
• Staff management: hire, train, and manage performance; schedule labor and minimize overtime.
• Safety and compliance: ensure health and safety regulations; maintain a clean work environment.
• Inventory management: oversee materials to minimize waste and ensure supply.
• Reporting and documentation: maintain production records and prepare reports.
• Continuous improvement: lead daily management systems and daily meetings; drive improvement projects.
• Learning and development: learn ERP/MES functions and related tasks.
