Job summary

Wow Bao in Forest City is seeking a hands-on 1st Shift Production Manager to lead daily production activities, ensuring safe and efficient manufacturing of high-quality food products. You will drive line performance, labor utilization, quality compliance, and employee development while partnering with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, Supply Chain, HR, and plant leadership to meet production goals.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing and 3+ years of supervisory experience in high-volume

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing experience in high-volume food production.
• 3+ years supervising production teams.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead first-shift production teams to meet schedules and quality expectations.
• Monitor line performance, staffing levels, changeovers, material readiness and flow.
• Coach supervisors on floor leadership, accountability, communication, and problem solving.
• Ensure production reporting, shift handoffs, downtime tracking, and daily performance reporting are accurate.
