Job summary

Eaton Corporation’s Electrical Sector in Sumter, SC is seeking a Production Associate, Pan Sub-Assembly for Mission Critical on 1st Shift. You will assemble switchboards/panelboards per drawings, using hand tools and following strict quality standards.

You will work in a fast-paced environment focused on safety, quality, and timely order fulfillment, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• No relocation benefit; 50 mile radius residency requirement.
• Manufacturing or operations experience.
• Experience with measuring devices (tape measure, calipers).
• Experience in assembly operation or assembly requiring drawings/diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings/diagrams/blueprints to assemble switchboards/panelboards.
• Select, install, and label components per drawings/diagrams/blueprints.
• Use hand tools to install material following established procedures.
• Maintain progress and communicate shortages or issues to team.
• Ensure quality via inspections and adherence to safety and productivity goals.
