Job summary

Oatey mixer operator role in Omaha, NE is a full-time position on the first shift within a manufacturing setting. You will prepare batch mixes, operate a range of mixing and testing equipment, verify materials and maintain strict safety and quality standards daily.

The role emphasizes Lean thinking, accurate documentation, and teamwork to meet production goals while supporting continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college preferred with advanced mathematics and/or science background preferred.
• Compounding, quality or science education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Makes batch mixes using established formulations and methods to meet safety, quality and production goals.
• Complete required documentation and production records.
• Participate in LEAN events (Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen) and 6S standards daily.
• Operate mixing and testing equipment and gather/verify raw materials per the double-check sheet.
• Maintain safety procedures and PPE and substitute/back-up positions as needed.
