Job summary

Oatey Co. seeks an in-site Production Operator to maintain a smooth flow of operations on an assigned line in Omaha, NE. You will handle data entry, changeovers, line flushes, and material handling while upholding safety, quality, and productivity standards.

You will train new and temporary staff, participate in LEAN events, and ensure SOP compliance. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, along with English fluency and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• English fluency (written and verbal) is required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Two years of manufacturing/de distribution experience in this department.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a smooth flow of operations; organize resources and start-up activities.
• Complete production records and data entry (DPRs, process monitors, etc.).
• Assist with changeovers and line flushes; oversee downtime clean-up.
• Perform material handling; replenish materials to meet schedule.
• Audit work areas per SOP; ensure product conformance and documentation.
• Provide training to new or temporary associates on safety, quality, and productivity.
• Participate in CIP and Lean events; support continuous improvement.
• Follow safety procedures; wear PPE; maintain 6S housekeeping.
