Job summary

Oatey is seeking a production operator at our Omaha, NE facility to ensure a smooth flow of operations. You will organize resources, assist with line changes, and monitor safety and quality during daily production tasks.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or equivalent and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Prior manufacturing experience is a plus, with opportunities for Lean initiatives and teamwork across shifts.

Qualifications

• Fluent English reading/writing; ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking manufacturing environment.
• Prior manufacturing/distribution experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain smooth flow of operations in assigned area; organize resources and start-up activities.
• Assist with changeovers and line flushes; manage material handling and replenishment.
• Record production data, monitor quality, and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Train new or temporary associates and participate in continuous improvement activities.
