Barrette Workforce Solutions, LLC in Harlan, IA is seeking an experienced Welder for first shift. You will layout, fit, and weld fabricated, cast, and forged components to form frames, stands, shafts, and other structures, using MIG/TIG equipment and following blueprints.

Requirements include 1-year certificate or 2–5 years in welding plus aluminum and stainless TIG experience; blueprint reading; and a focus on quality and problem solving. 5S responsibilities are part of the role.

Competenze

• One-year certificate from college or technical school or 2–5 years of related experience.
• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• 2–5 years MIG and TIG welding in fabrication; aluminum and stainless TIG experience.
• Blueprint reading is a must; problem solving and quality focus.

Mansioni

• Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding.
• Lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components for welding.
• Welds using MIG/TIG/Torch equipment according to blueprints.
• Reads blueprints and ensures quality; supports 5S in department.
• Repairs and assembles parts; uses hand and power tools as needed.
