Job summary

Talent Solutions Partners in Harlan, Iowa is seeking a Welder to join our 1st shift team. You will read blueprints, plan layouts, and weld fabricated, cast, and forged components to build frames, stands, reels, shafts, and related parts using MIG/TIG welding.

Requirements include 1-year certificate or 2–5 years MIG/TIG experience, aluminum and stainless TIG experience, blueprint reading, and a problem-solving mindset. Welding certification is a plus. Knowledge of 5S is beneficial.

Qualifications

• 1-year certificate or 2-5 years related experience or equivalent.
• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or tech school.
• 2-5 years MIG and TIG welding experience in fabrication.
• Aluminum and stainless TIG welding experience required.
• Blueprint reading is required; quality-focused mindset.
• Welding certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding.
• Lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components together.
• Welds parts using MIG/TIG/Torch welding equipment.
• Reads blueprints and ensures product quality.
• Maintains 5S within the department.
• Checks input accuracy from eng/sales/manufacturing for final product.
