Job summary

Roche in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee a fast-paced diagnostic production line, ensuring quality, schedule adherence, and efficient manufacturing. You will lead an extended operations team, coach staff, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to achieve KPIs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a STEM field and at least 4 years in production or related areas, including 2 years in people leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in STEM or related field is required.
4 years of relevant experience in production/manufacturing with 2 years in leadership.
Experience in a regulated environment is preferred.
Strong data-driven decision making and problem solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

Lead and empower direct reports; provide coaching, training and feedback on performance.
Identify scheduling conflicts and production issues; collaborate with support functions for resolution.
Coordinate with process lead for resource management and adherence to schedules.
Ensure adherence to end-to-end production processes and drive continuous improvement.
Set shift goals, report misses to leadership and implement corrective actions.
Promote a lean culture and drive waste reduction through workforce empowerment.
Collaborate with peers to drive value stream improvements and global projects.
