Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; STEM degree preferred.
• 4 years of relevant experience in production, manufacturing, or related field, with 2 years in process, people, or project leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and lead a high-performing team.
• Ability to influence all levels of staff and management.
• Experience in a regulated environment.
• Proven skills with process improvement.
• Proficient written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Strong leadership abilities per VACC principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead and empower direct reports or teams; provide coaching, training and timely feedback on performance toward goals.
• Identify scheduling conflicts, production issues and equipment maintenance needs; collaborate with support functions for resolution.
• Coordinate with process lead for resource management.
• Ensure production adherence and end-to-end process understanding.
• Set goals for shifts and processes; report misses and implement corrective actions.
• Create a lean culture by empowering the workforce to implement ideas to reduce waste and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with peers across shifts and functions to drive value stream and lean projects.
