Job summary

Roche in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to support a fast-paced operation delivering diagnostic products while maintaining quality, safety, and schedule adherence.

You will lead and coach a team, resolve scheduling and equipment issues with cross-functional partners, and drive lean initiatives to improve end-to-end production.

This role requires a Bachelor's (STEM preferred) and 4 years in production, with 2 in leadership; relocation not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; STEM degree preferred.
• 4 years in production/manufacturing or related field.
• At least 2 years in people or project leadership.

Responsibilities

• Leads and empowers direct reports; provides coaching and feedback on performance and progress toward goals.
• Identifies scheduling conflicts, production issues and equipment maintenance needs; collaborates with support functions for resolution.
• Coordinates with process lead for resource management.
• Responsible for production manufacturing adherence and end-to-end process understanding.
• Sets goals and reports misses to daily/weekly/monthly goals; implements corrective actions.
• Drives lean culture and continuous improvement by empowering the workforce to contribute improvements.
• Collaborates with peers to drive value stream and global lean manufacturing projects.
