Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is seeking a Maintenance Technician on 1st shift in Santa Ana, CA. The role offers a 40-hour work week with potential overtime; hours are 5:00am to 1:30pm. The position includes full benefits and a 401(k) plan from day one.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years industrial/facilities maintenance experience.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, now or in the future.
• No relocation benefit; within 50-mile radius of the work location.
• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, control, hydraulic, fluid, and electrical systems to component level.

Responsibilities

• Assist Engineers, Project Managers, and other functions on plant/department layout proposals or Kaizens.
• Coordinate with Santa Ana’s building and grounds contractors.
• Assist Manufacturing Engineers in developing prototype equipment and processes.
• Assist operators and supervisors in troubleshooting manufacturing problems.
• Develop and implement improvements to processes and layouts.
• Support MESH implementation to drive safety and environmental improvements.
