Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Technician on 1st shift to support manufacturing engineers and drive continuous improvement. The role includes deploying standard work, leading Kaizen events, and creating process documentation while addressing tooling and safety actions.

Training and cross-department collaboration are key, with opportunities for overtime. The position offers health benefits, paid holidays, weekly pay, and a $2,000 sign-on bonus paid in installments.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2 years working in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Experience working with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean projects in the plant.
• Lead and participate in Kaizen and Rapid Improvement Events.
• Develop and maintain standard work documentation and process documentation.
• Assist in tooling improvements, action items, safety and quality actions.
• Create standard tool lists for work centers and support 5S+ initiatives.
