Responsibilities

• Perform daily setup and ensure the department is prepared for production; staffing included.
• Lead stretching at the start of the day.
• Communicate with Leaders and Managers during lot changes to maintain quality and line flow.
• Complete departmental audits on equipment, product and performance; record data.
• Monitor department to maintain efficiency and product quality.
• Understand operation of equipment and how adjustments affect quality.
• Report downtime and causes to the Production Manager and coordinate with Maintenance.
• Perform end-of-day shutdown and verify department areas are closed.
• Conduct associate training and coaching; assist with employee reviews.
• Support progressive discipline and assist HR with information flow.
