Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team in Pennsylvania. The role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facility systems to keep operations safe and efficient.

The shift runs 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed. The ideal candidate brings strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, experience with industrial equipment, and a proactive approach to

Qualifications

Experience in industrial maintenance and repair of production equipment.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Working knowledge of electrical systems and motors.
Familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatics preferred.
Ability to read technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.
Basic welding and fabrication skills are a plus.
Able to work independently and in a team.
Willing to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

Perform routine preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment failures.
Troubleshoot production equipment to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
Inspect machinery and identify potential maintenance issues before equipment failures occur.
Perform equipment adjustments, repairs, and component replacements as necessary.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair logs, and preventative maintenance schedules.
Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications.
Work closely with production supervisors to prioritize maintenance needs.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
Follow all OSHA regulations, company safety procedures, and lockout/tagout requirements.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests.
Recommend improvements to equipment reliability, safety, and overall operational efficiency.
