Job summary

Farmers Pride Inc is seeking a Hatchery Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations of the department, manage hourly staff, and ensure quality, GMP/SSOP and HACCP standards in Fredericksburg, PA. You will maintain staffing, safety, and productivity, administer discipline, and communicate priorities with supervisors to meet goals.

This role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and the ability to use data from production reports to drive improvements in a high-volume hatchery

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership in a team setting.
• Ability to read and utilize data from reports.
• Knowledge of animal welfare and handling.
• Ability to train and manage staff.

Responsibilities

• Communicate daily with supervisors to align priorities.
• Decide and use staff to meet dept goals for quality, safety, and productivity.
• Coordinate staffing with other departments to meet priorities.
• Train and develop team members; supervise discipline per policy.
• Control overtime, waste, yields, and order fill to goals.
• Report daily priorities and performance to hourly staff.
• Address safety and quality concerns to ensure safe, quality products.
