Job summary

Pilgrim's in the United States is seeking a Supervisor to oversee hatchery production, egg pickup, inventory and egg breakout, ensuring low-cost, safe operations. You will guide the workforce to maintain quality and compliance.

You will hire and train personnel, set schedules, monitor bio-security, oversee safe work environments, and manage records while meeting production targets. A background in hatcheries and prior supervisory experience are required.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a processing or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of hatchery operations for baby chicks.
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Self-motivated and detail oriented.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to recognize unsafe conditions and advise accordingly.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel is expected.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records and direct the workforce.
• Hire and train personnel.
• Monitor safety rules and regulations.
• Set schedule.
• Observe all Bio-Security programs.
• Oversee and monitor a safe working environment.
• Oversee production of healthy baby chicks for broiler grown out.
• Other duties as assigned.
