Job summary

1440 Foods is seeking a 1st Shift Production Supervisor to lead our start-up plant operations in Indiana. You will supervise production staff, manage schedules, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities include optimizing production processes, overseeing inventory, and driving continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry specific experience.
• 3+ years of proven leadership experience in a production/manufacturing environment in the food industry.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Production Operations: Coordinate and supervise all activities and personnel involved in the production process, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
• Monitor Production Processes to optimize productivity and minimize downtime.
• Quality Assurance/Sanitation: Maintain quality control measures and lead sanitation as needed.
• Staff Management: Hire, train, and manage performance; create weekly production schedules to optimize labor and minimize overtime.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure health and safety regulations compliance and maintain a safe work environment.
• Inventory Management: Oversee materials usage to minimize waste and ensure supply for production.
• Reporting and Documentation: Maintain production records and prepare management reports.
• Continuous Improvement: Lead daily management systems and drive line performance.
