Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Yard & Dock Coordinator for 1st shift, 7:00am–3:30pm, at our Bristow facility. You will be the primary contact for dock activities, ensuring safe trailer movement and coordinating with operations, safety, and customer teams.

This hands-on role requires strong communication, safety adherence, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced yard environment. Proficiency with MS Office and Google Suite is used to track activity and support leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, distribution, dock, yard or transportation settings.
• Ability to coordinate dock or yard activities in a fast-paced operation.
• Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Comfort using Microsoft Office 365 and Google Suite applications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for loading/unloading dock activities and trailer movements.
• Coordinate trailer docking, release, and yard flow following safety standards.
• Monitor dock conditions and escalate unsafe situations per procedures.
• Collaborate daily with site operations, transportation, yard services, and customer teams.
• Maintain 7S organization and document issues using MS Office/Google tools.
• Provide coverage and operational support to site leadership as needed.
