MiTek is seeking an experienced Changeover Die Technician to support stamping operations in Tolleson, AZ. The role covers die setup, changeovers, tooling maintenance, and troubleshooting forming and progression issues to keep dies production-ready for schedules.

Essential duties include die component changes, die section removal/install, tool sharpening coordination, and preventative maintenance. Safety and quality are emphasized throughout daily tasks, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Read a tape measure and interpret measurements for tolerances.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to follow all safety policies and procedures.

Responsabilités

• Set up dies and perform die changeovers to ensure production readiness.
• Maintain tooling and perform preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot forming, punch, and progression issues.
• Assemble components per documentation to tight tolerances and verify correct die per customer spec.
• Provide support to Die Setters and train others as needed.
• Coordinate with planners and schedulers to ensure dies run as planned.
• Monitor press, tooling, and secondary systems during manufacturing.
• Attend shift and be prepared for overtime when required.
