Job summary

MiTek in Tolleson, AZ seeks a production operator to run stamping presses and related packaging processes. You will meet daily production goals while ensuring safety and quality reporting across shifts.

You will feed materials, inspect first pieces, document paperwork, and assist mechanics to keep equipment operational. This is a physical role demanding up to 50 lbs and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School/GED preferred.
• Up to 1 year related experience and/or training preferred.
• Combination of experience and education may substitute on a year-for-year basis.
• Able to perform basic math including proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume.
• Able to read and understand prints and schematics.
• Able to use a tape measure with 1/32-inch increments and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Operate stamping press and auxiliary equipment with manual and automated packaging processes.
• Meet and/or exceed daily production goals.
• Report machine malfunctions to mechanics or supervisors.
• Assist mechanics to keep press/packaging equipment operational.
• Feed ribbon material into stamping dies and perform first piece inspection.
• Manually pack metal connectors and/or steel components into containers.
• Minimize waste; inspect finished products and mark steel lot numbers.
• Monitor coolant and oil levels and adjust as needed.
• Conduct ongoing quality checks per internal standards.
• Complete quality and production paperwork during shift.
• Attend scheduled shifts; work overtime as required and be on time.
