Job summary

Boot Barn is seeking a Distribution Center Supervisor for the 1st shift to lead nightly picking, packing and shipping operations. The role reports to the Distribution Center Shift Manager and requires proven DC leadership and hands-on coaching to ensure KPI achievement.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in DC roles, 3+ years in supervisor roles, and familiarity with HighJump/WMS, RF tech, and UPS World Ship. Competitive hourly pay and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years prior Distribution Center experience preferred.
• At least 3 years in leadership/supervisory role.
• Knowledge of HighJump, Warehouse Management System (WMS) and RF application a plus.
• Understands and complies with OSHA regulations.
• Knowledge of UPS World Ship software among other shipping systems such as LTL, TL, etc...
• Ability to coach and develop employees in performing job duties to department and company expectations.
• Ability to operate DC equipment such as forklift, pallet jack, order picker, reach truck.
• Proficient with MS Office, MS Word, MS Excel etc.
• Knowledge working with POS system – Epicor NSB a plus.
• Must be able to multitask in fast pace environment.
• Demonstrates effective communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the Distribution Center’s nightly operations.
• Oversee nightly picking, packing and shipping procedures.
• Provide coaching and actionable feedback to meet KPI targets.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and safety requirements are followed.
• Directly manage Distribution Center staff on the 1st/2nd shift.
• Maintain efficient workflows to support business needs.
• Lead and coach the team toward common goals.
• Uphold professionalism in communication with customers, peers and management.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
