Job summary

McCall Farms, Inc. is seeking a Supervisor I for DC Shipping to lead a second shift of hourly associates in picking, staging, and loading customer orders.

You will enforce safety policies, drive GMP compliance, and support continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key duties include coaching staff, maintaining documentation, and using Excel and ERP/MRP tools to improve inventory accuracy and process efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years in a Manufacturing/Distribution environment with supervisor experience.
• Must lift 20–40 lbs and stand/sit for long periods.
• Must adapt to changes and maintain detailed communication.
• Excellent documentation skills and proficiency with Excel, MRP, ERP (Sage) and Mobe3 WMS.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coach hourly associates on picking, staging, and loading.
• Monitor performance, conduct reviews, and administer disciplinary actions as needed.
• Ensure safety, complete accident investigations, and enforce GMP requirements.
• Maintain accurate records, prepare schedules, and model data-driven improvements.
• Design strategies to reduce cost or time for clerical, picking, loading, and audits.
• Present performance data to management and support SOP implementation.
• Collaborate on annual headcount planning and department budgets.
