Preferred Partner Search in Saint Peters, MO, seeks an experienced CNC Operations Lead to direct a first-shift team of 15–20 with 3–5 leads. You will recruit, onboard, train, and develop machinists, drive safety, quality, productivity, and throughput, and own departmental budgets and SOPs.

You will partner with Manufacturing Engineering and Quality to ensure process capability, LEAN improvements, and cross-train staff for flexibility; knowledge of AS9100, EHS, and audits is valued.

Competenze

• 10 years in CNC machining with hands-on expertise.
• 5–10 years leading machining teams and overseeing a substantial CNC operation.
• Advanced blueprint literacy and strong GD&T mastery (datums, controls, tolerances).
• Broad CNC know-how: equipment, tooling, setups, capability, processes, troubleshooting.
• Experience coaching and mentoring machinists and leads; progressive discipline when needed.
