Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is seeking a shift supervisor for the first shift (7am-3pm) to support medical and clinical teams across admissions, transportation, meals, and supervision. You will engage clients to foster a warm recovery environment and ensure policy compliance for safety of clients and staff.

The role demands strong interpersonal and multitasking abilities, a compassionate, sober, and dignified presence, and the ability to lead BHTs with training and support to maintain smooth

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety required.
• Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills.
• Warm, compassionate and empathetic personality.
• Dignified character that models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational support to medical and clinical teams (admissions, transportation, meals, medication, supervision, phones etc.).
• Engage and build rapport with clients, creating a warm, accepting recovery environment
• Monitor clients and enforce all Avenues policies to ensure safety of both clients and staff
• Record and accelerate any critical communication/incidents in a timely manner
• Fulfill all administrative duties (shift documentation, inventory, meetings, office support etc.)
• Oversee all BHTs on your shift and provide training and support
