Qualifications

• 2+ years of litigation experience; First Party Property Damage experience preferred.
• Member of the Texas Bar and in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of first-party homeowner property insurance claims.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis.
• Prepare and draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal documents.
• Take and defend depositions of insureds and experts.
• Negotiate settlements and participate in mediation.
• Represent clients in court as needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients.
• Collaborate with paralegals and other attorneys.
• Stay abreast of developments in Texas insurance law.

• Manage a caseload of first-party homeowner property insurance claims from inception to resolution.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis.
• Prepare and draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Take and defend depositions of insureds, adjusters, experts, and corporate representatives.
• Negotiate settlements and participate in mediation and arbitration.
• Represent clients in court, including trials and hearings, as needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates and clear explanations of legal strategies.
• Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and other attorneys.
• Stay abreast of developments in Texas insurance law and property claims.

Requirements
