The ideal candidate will have significant experience in handling first-party homeowner property claims and demonstrate a proven track record of representing homeowners in various disputes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of litigation experience; First Party Property Damage experience preferred.
• Member of the Texas Bar and in good standing.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of first-party homeowner property insurance claims.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis.
• Prepare and draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal documents.
• Take and defend depositions of insureds and experts.
• Negotiate settlements and participate in mediation.
• Represent clients in court as needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients.
• Collaborate with paralegals and other attorneys.
• Stay abreast of developments in Texas insurance law.
