The attorney will manage cases from inception to resolution, handle depositions, pleadings, hearings, and develop strategy, with a compensation structure including base salary 140k-170k and 15% of new client revenue; flexible work options.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Our client is a highly respected law firm focused exclusively on first-party property homeowners insurance litigation. Due to continued growth, the firm is seeking a talented Insurance Defense Attorney with 3+ years of litigation experience to join its Houston-area team.

While direct experience handling first-party property claims is highly preferred, the firm is open to attorneys with backgrounds in other areas of insurance defense who are interested in transitioning into this specialized practice.

Position Summary

The attorney will manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution, representing insurance carriers in first-party homeowners property disputes. The ideal candidate is a strong litigator who can independently handle files, develop case strategy, and build lasting relationships with clients and referral sources.

• Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters through all phases of litigation.
