Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for First-Line Equipment Services Managers (Level K) to support the Fabrication team in Auburn or Puyallup, Washington on a variable shift (may be selected to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift).

A manager in this role will develop cross-functional partnerships to achieve team and program goals while developing a work environment that promotes accountability, trust, teamwork, quality and safety. This role will lead a team of 10+ people within the Puget Sound.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines

  • Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies

  • Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

  • Manages, develops and motivates employees

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or manufacturing environment

  • 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role

  • 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)

  • Willing to work any shift (may be selected for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience using Boeing Production System (BPS)

  • 3+ years of experience mentoring, coaching, guiding, and leading teams

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range:$121,050 - $147,950
