Qualifications

  • 5-7 years industry experience, with 3-5 years in ERISA compliance.

Get To Know The Opportunity

The ERISA Services Manager acts as the primary contact for relationship managers and clients regarding non-discrimination testing (ADP/ACP, 415, 410(b), Top Heavy, and complex testing), test cure strategies, and signature-ready Form 5500 requirements. This role oversees a team of ERISA Services staff to ensure proper testing and reporting strategies are in place.

Note: This role offers a FLEXIBLE work location! It is 100% remote.

The Contributions You’ll Make
  • Manage non-discrimination testing and Form 5500 preparation, ensuring compliance with deadlines. Provide consultation on complex compliance issues.
  • Ensure system capabilities (Omni, ASC, Relius) support accurate testing/reporting. Lead initiatives to update systems for regulatory changes and efficiency.
  • Analyze plan and employer requirements to determine testing methodologies. Develop capabilities for testing various plan types as needed.
  • Collaborate with staff and clients to develop cure strategies for failed tests, ensuring accurate calculations and compliance.
  • Participate in pre-sale and new client onboarding to showcase Voya ERISA Services capabilities. Support sales efforts with presentations and materials.
  • Manage product development and process improvements, ensuring procedures and communications are current.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Knowledge & Experience
  • 5-7 years industry experience, with 3-5 years in ERISA compliance. Knowledge of ERISA and IRC 401(a) is required.
  • Familiarity with current recordkeeping systems is desirable.
  • Industry certifications (SPARK, NIPA, ASPPA, CEBS) are strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to interact with senior management, are required.
  • Strong management and organizational skills are essential.
Preferred Knowledge & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field; JD or Master’s in Accounting or Taxation is a plus.
Compensation Pay Disclosure

The annual base salary range for this role is $75,830 - $126,390 USD, with potential incentives. Actual offers depend on location, experience, education, and skills. Salaries for part-time roles are prorated.
