Job summary

UPS in Nashville is seeking a Mechanic 1st Class to maintain and repair a wide range of equipment including delivery vehicles, heavy-duty machinery, tractors, and trailers. You will diagnose and fix hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electronic systems and engines.

The role requires physical ability, ability to lift 70 lbs, valid driver's license, and at least 3 years of preventive maintenance and electrical diagnostics experience.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, or eligible to work in the U.S.
• Minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience in preventive maintenance and electrical diagnostics.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Repairs propane and gas vehicles.
• Operates standard and manual transmission.
• Operates power and pneumatic tools.
• Ensures all vehicles are maintained regularly and promptly.
