Job summary

UPS is seeking a Mechanic 1st Class to maintain and repair a wide range of equipment including delivery vehicles, heavy machinery, and trailers. You will diagnose and fix issues in hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electronic systems, and engines, with additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Capability to lift 70 lbs/32 kgs.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, up to 5 days per week.
• Must meet DOT requirements.
• Must possess required hand tools for the job.

Responsibilities

• Repairs propane and gas vehicles.
• Operates standard and manual transmission vehicles.
• Uses power and pneumatic tools as needed.
• Ensures all vehicles are maintained regularly and timely.
