BlueStar Resort & Golf in Rio Verde, AZ is seeking a First Assistant Golf Professional to support daily Golf Shop operations and Guest Services, coordinating with the Director of Golf to provide first-class service and meet revenue targets.

The role requires PGA affiliation or progress toward membership, supervisory experience, and strong computer skills. The position offers a path for advancement in a dynamic, upscale golf environment near Scottsdale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• Two to three years’ experience in a related field, with supervisory experience preferred.
• PGA membership or in the process of obtaining is preferred.
• Current First Aid, CPR/AED certification, and other safety certifications, as required by the Club.
• Computer literate with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsabilités

• Communicate the core values and mission of BlueStar Resort & Golf to support the achievement of company goals.
• Oversee the daily operations of the Golf Shop and Guest Services.
• Act as the liaison between the Head Golf Professional and the golf departments; regularly meet with the Head Golf Professional to discuss operating procedures, goals, and plans to achieve revenue targets.
• Assist with all tournament operations.
• Support the budget creation process and regularly monitor the operations budget to assure revenues and expenses are meeting the department’s financial goals.
• Maintain effective communication between all team members regarding course operations, safety, and human resources issues.
