Job summary

Make Golf Your Career is seeking a Head Golf Professional to support the General Manager/Director of Golf and ensure guests receive outstanding service. You will help manage golf shop activities and outside services, working to build a premier club experience.

The role emphasizes organizing events, tournaments, outings, and leagues to enhance the club’s products and market position, with preference for PGA members and a Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• PGA Member preferred.
• Experience in golf retail, marketing, sales, and guest relations.

Responsibilities

• Assist GM/Director of Golf with golf shop activities and outside services.
• Organize and implement golf events, tournaments, outings, leagues, and other programs.
• Deliver outstanding guest service and improve club offerings.
• Manage multiple duties under pressure and work flexible hours including weekends.

Overview

This is a career-based position for a candidate who wants to be a Head Golf Professional and work in a successful business model The 1st Assistant Golf Professional (Assistant Golf Professional) assists the General Manager/ Director of Golf with all golf shop activities and outside services operations and is responsible for ensuring guests receive outstanding customer service, which meets or exceeds their expectations. The 1st Assistant Golf Professsional is instrumental in organizing and implementing golf events, tournaments, outings, leagues, and other golf programs designed to improve the Club's products and services as well as its competitive position in the marketplace. Looking for a canidate who would like to be part in building a "Best In Market" Facility at very active facility.

Experience Required

Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years' experience in the golf industry

Essential Responsibilities

Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, not required. PGA Member preferred (Rate range based on levels) This is a career-based position for a candidate who wants to be a Head Golf Professional and work in a successful business model with Best in Market Goals.

Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated experience and capability in the areas of retailing, marketing and sales, customer service, and guest relations preferred. Demonstrated quality written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to analyze and solve problems, efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision, work flexible hours as required including weekends. Must present self in a positive and professional manner and appearance in all situations. Must also be able to read and write English. POS Experiecce with Club Caddy, Jonas products helful.
