Job summary

ATC Healthcare of Las Vegas is seeking an experienced CVOR CSTFA/CSFA for a 13-week hospital assignment with a large acute care facility. The First Assist must have recent open-heart surgery experience and be capable of performing EVH using the Maquet Hemopro 2 System.

Requirements include CST/CSFA certification, 2+ years of CVOR, BLS, and independent EVH capability. This role offers day shifts, competitive compensation, and potential extension.

Qualifications

• CVOR experience in a hospital setting is required.
• Must be able to independently assist in cardiovascular surgery.
• Experience with endoscopic vein harvesting is required.
• CABG/valve procedures experience preferred.
• Maquet Hemopro 2 familiarity is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as First Assistant during cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures.
• Independently perform endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH) utilizing the Maquet Hemopro 2 System.
• Assist with CABG, valve, vascular, thoracic, and other cardiovascular procedures.
• Provide exposure, tissue handling, hemostasis, suturing, vessel preparation, and wound closure.
• Maintain sterile field and ensure compliance with all surgical safety standards.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, perfusionists, and OR staff to achieve positive patient outcomes.

13-Week Assignment @ $72 an hour (W2)

ATC Healthcare of Las Vegas is seeking an experienced CVOR Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSTFA/CSFA) for a 13-week hospital assignment with a large acute care facility. This position requires a highly skilled cardiovascular surgical professional with recent open-heart surgery experience who can independently function as a First Assist and perform endoscopic vein harvesting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as First Assistant during cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures.
• Independently perform endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH) utilizing the Maquet Hemopro 2 System.
• Assist with CABG, valve, vascular, thoracic, and other cardiovascular procedures.
