Milwaukee Tool seeks an embedded systems engineer to design, test, and optimize real‑time motor control firmware. You will prototype and validate control algorithms, document architectures, and drive firmware quality with CI/CD and HIL workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of embedded C/C++ experience.
• Working knowledge of closed loop control theory.
• Experience withDevOps/CI/CD, HIL, unit testing.
• Experience with software configuration management and peer reviews.
• Excellent problem-solving and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, test, and troubleshoot embedded systems for real-time motor control.
• Model, simulate, and implement advanced control algorithms.
• Develop and document control system architecture.
• Develop and execute test plans and procedures for firmware subsystems.
• Use lab equipment and communicate progress to teams and management.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with suppliers for components.
